In 2016, Founder Stewart Hardie had a family member living in a senior care facility who suffered a serious injury when she fell out of bed in the middle of the night.  Unable to reach the nurse call button, she remained on the floor for hours, causing further complications that she would never fully recover from.

When Stewart learned this was not an uncommon occurrence with hard-wired nurse call systems, he set out to create a wireless solution. When he saw existing technology didn’t meet the demands of the market, he assembled a team to develop a technology that did.
